My warm welcome to Mindful Space of Healing, a supportive space for professionals working in Healthcare, Socialcare, and other helping roles, to look after themselves and grow in
alignment.

If you are someone that identifies as a Helping professional, whether in Healthcare, Socialcare, or Wellness, you may have gone through burnout at some point in your career.

You may be experiencing compassion fatigue, or you may be finding it difficult to step back from clients' difficulties. Or perhaps you always find yourself having to put others first, and you do not
have enough time or space for your emotional well-being and growth.

If this sounds like you, I can help you find ways to make work sustainable, going back into alignment as needed. In addition, I can help you with your emotional well-being in other areas of life, such as relationships, bereavement, caring responsibilities, and existential crises among others.

I created this project because I believe that Healthcare professionals play a crucial role in the world. By looking after the helpers, I believe I am contributing to their lives and professional growth, as well as creating a ripple effect, resulting in a positive impact on your clients.

I love holding space for warm-hearted people, for the helpers and givers, and sharing what I have learned over the years navigating different helping roles, as well as personal life challenges.

These are some of the challenges I can help you with:

  • Work-related stress and burnout, due to working under pressure, services being understaffed, unrealistic demands, limitations of the system, or unhealthy interactions and power dynamics at work. Feeling easily drained and exhausted, always on the go and in survival mode. Low motivation and dreading going to work, compassion fatigue, and not having enough time or space for your emotional wellbeing.

  • Work-related trauma: intense anxiety and distressing memories related to a threatening or extremely challenging and traumatic event or difficult incident at work. This may
    manifest in nightmares, flashbacks, intense anxiety, and being triggered by certain scenarios.

  • Psychological wellbeing and personal life: Relationship problems, bereavement, stress related to caring responsibilities and supporting others, existential crises, identity crises (cultural, gender, or others). Anxiety, sleep problems, trauma, depression/ low mood, low self-esteem or low confidence, not feeling good enough.
